Jesus is better than anything and anyone else, so we have every reason to persevere with faith in Him. This is the point of the book of Hebrews, written to heavily persecuted Jewish Christians. They were contemplating turning back from Jesus to cease their sufferings. But this letter helps them to consider Christ Jesus, who is better than anything and everything else they could possibly turn towards. The same is true today; Jesus is better, and faith that perseveres with Him for life is worth it.

Speaker: Paul Pitts III is a happy disciple of Jesus, husband to Kassidy, dad to PPIV, and one on the way. He is an associate pastor at Bethany Bible Church in Thousand Oaks, CA and adjunct professor at Pepperdine University. Paul is a football alumni and two-time graduate of San Diego State University (B.A., M.A.), and a two-time graduate of The Master’s Seminary (M.Div, D. Min). Above all, Paul desires to glory in Christ & help others do the same.
